Recycled Art
I have always been interested in art. I find recycled, eco-friendly art real, relevant, and conscious. Take a look at Richard Rockford’s MeadowLark. It is a unique collection of historic parts and images. A shadow box with original old red paint, and the wood that lines the box is made of Prohibition era molds for making illegal liquor. Inside are filled chocolates, a lithograph bird image, and a platform covered by antique, handwritten paper.
What do you see when you look at this piece? What thoughts and emotions does it evoke for you?
